TJC Begins 90th Anniversary Celebration with Bike Tour

TJC will celebrate it's 90th anniversary with events throughout the year celebrating the school's heritage, traditions and education it provides to the community.

TJC President Dr. Mike Metke will kick off the celebration with the 90 for 90th two day bicycle tour, April 1st and 2nd. The tour will encompass the TJC enrollment area from Alba-Golden to Rusk.

Anyone is welcome to take part in part or all of the tour. Day 1 will at Alba-Golden High School and continue through Quitman, Mineola and Lindale, finishing at the TJC main campus. Day 2, begins at TJC heading south through Whitehouse and Jacksonville, finishing in Rusk.

Pre-registration is $35 per person for both days or $20 for a one day. All riders will receive a T-shirt. Commemorative TJC 90th anniversary cycling jerseys will also be available for purchase.
