Okay, admit it. If it weren't for Facebook, you would have lost touch with just about everyone you went to college with. Thank you Mark Zuckerberg for making sure we don't lose touch, and for giving us the chance to continue to "Like" each other.

Social media keeps us all together on a daily basis, but Tyler Junior College Alumni will actually have the chance the shake hands and high five, and have some real live, face-to-face interaction Tuesday.

Tyler Junior College will have an alumni reunion tomorrow, followed by a town hall meeting in the Chevron Technology Center at Van High School, 985 N. Maple St.

The reunion will start at 5:30 p.m. and the town hall meeting starts at 6:30 p.m.

At the town hall meeting they'll have a presentation by TJC President Dr. Mike Metke. He'll speak about the college’s current and upcoming projects including the new nursing and health sciences facility. We hear there's big demand in health care, and it's a good time to enter that career field. It's a perfect opportunity to find out more tomorrow.

Oh, and while you're on Facebook, don't forget to Like our page. We Like you too.
