A Tornado Watch is currently in effect for our Central and Eastern Counties until 10 pm tonight, and now a Tornado Warning has been issued for the City of Longview.

TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM CDT...
A BAND OF NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS...SEVERAL OF THEM QUITE STRONG TO SEVERE...ARE CENTERED GENERALLY IN THE INTERSTATE 20 VICINITY OF NORTHEAST TEXAS...ACROSS THE EXTREME NORTHWEST CORNER OF LOUISIANA...AND ACROSS EXTREME SOUTHERN ARKANSAS. THE STRONGER STORMS WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL FOR PRODUCING LARGE HAIL OF QUARTER SIZE OR LARGER...DAMAGING WIND GUSTS....VERY FREQUENT
DEADLY LIGHTNING STRIKES...AND POSSIBLE BRIEF TORNADOES.
THUNDERSTORM REDEVELOPMENT FURTHER NORTH NEAR THE INTERSTATE 30 CORRIDOR WILL LIKELY REMAIN MORE SCATTERED. VERY HEAVY RAIN OF
