Tradition Building on East Texas Bridge

I saw an article this morning from the Tyler Morning Telegraph and had to check this out for myself.

Part of the Rose Rudman Trail runs behind Woodcreek Athletic Club and on the bridge, locks have been placed on the bars on either side. Some of these locks have been inscribed with messages of love, others are blank maybe as a personal message left to that individual alone to know what it means.

Still, it is a sight to see and take a moment to ponder their message of love or even remembrance.

The locks range from the traditional lock you find at the hardware store to some of an older style that would be hard to find.

Take a moment and travel the walking area and check out what seems to be becoming a new tradition in East Texas or even add your own message.
