Trevor Moran almost missed his moment on tonight's (Sept. 27) final audition episode of 'X Factor.' The precocious 12-year-old spent much of his time backstage in San Francisco walking around, talking about how much he loves to entertain. He was dancing and generally annoying other people. The drama came into play because he wore himself out and forgot to drink the proper amount of fluids, because the medics had to be called when he passed the heck out. Oops!

The PAs couldn't locate him to bring him on stage for his audition time, since he was laying on the ground, resting his head in his poor, worried mother's lap. The kid was pale and unresponsive. It got scary for a hot second, and we were worried about him.

Turns out he was dehydrated from working himself up into a frenzy. Luckily for him, he was able to hit the stage later in the afternoon to perform LMFAO's 'Sexy and I Know It.'

With his sideswept bangs and flushed cheeks, Moran took the stage to deliver the song. Given the, uh, mature subject matter of the song, especially when it's a 12-year-old singing it, we knew there had to be somewhat of a tongue-in-cheek element in store for us.

Moran rapped and he sang in a high-pitched style that sounded like it would be perfect for a child's role in a musical on Broadway. He even wiggled it. It was entertaining and humorous.

Simon Cowell felt that while the song was not age appropriate, the kid did have charisma. You can't bottle or fake that, and he did have us going, "Whoa, what is he doing?" So he garnered a reaction from us, and got four passes from the judges to the next round.

Good luck, Trevor. And make sure to drink water at all times.
