If you are thinking about building your own home, or if you're wanting to do a little updating and remodeling where you live now, you can get inspiration and great ideas through the Tyler Area Builders Associations Annual Parade Of Homes tour.  The tour kicks off Saturday and runs through Sunday, June 10.  This year's parade features 36 homes across Tyler.

The featured homes are spread through out Tyler and represent homes from a diverse price range. A lot of the homes on the parade route are built using the latest green building technologies, show off the latest technology in media rooms and showcase outdoor living trends and backyards.

"Visitors can also take away great ideas for decorating for building projects," Libby Simmons, executive vice president of TABA, said in a news release.

Tickets for the Parade of Homes are on sale now and are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under and 30 percent of each adult ticket price this year goes to one of the following charities: Azelway Boy's Home, Children's Village and the Children's Miracle Network at Mother Frances Hospital.

You can view these newly constructed homes at these times:
Saturdays 10am - 6pm
Sundays 2pm - 6pm
Monday - Thursday 6pm - 9pm
Friday 3pm - 9pm
