It's time to break out the sunscreen, floaties and your swim suit and head off to the pool to have some fun in the summer sun!  The Tyler Parks and Recreation Department will be opening the city's two pools on Saturday, June 2nd!

With the end of school on the horizon and the temperatures in East Texas on the rise, your kids will be looking for a place to hang out, lay in the sun and cool off and one of the Tyler city pools is the perfect place!  Woldert Pool and Sprayground and Fun Forest Pool and Sprayground will be opening for the summer on Saturday, June 2nd.

Both pools are staffed by trained lifeguard and will be open through August 11th and are free to enjoy.  However, before you can enjoy your summer swim, all kids under the age of 18 must be registered with the pool manager by a parent or legal guardian.  Tyler Parks is giving you the opportunity to register early May 29th - June 1st from 1p - 5p at the pools or you can do it anytime this summer during regular pool hours.
