This year marks the 60th annual Parade of Homes. The first parade of homes was held during an eight day period in 1953 and consisted of 10 homes built by 10 different builders located on the same block of Idlewood drive in the Tanglewood Addition.

Today the tour features 28 homes in the Tyler area including Bullard, and Lindale. The tour of homes showcases the latest new features including technological digital advances for the home.

More than 4,000 visitors toured the Parade last year.

Home tours begin June 1 and run each day till June 9.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under and can be purchased at the TABA office on Grande Blvd. or at each of the homes on the parade.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Rockin’ C Ranch camp for special needs children and Azleway Boys Home.
