Tyler Police Officer Injured During Traffic Stop

Early Thursday Tyler Police Officer TJ Goodpasture was conducting a traffic stop on Hwy 110 South when a car traveling on the roadway struck the officers car.

Don Martin, Tyler Police Public information officer, says police on the scene had their emergency lights on and were stopped in the outside lane of the roadway when the wreck occurred.

Martin says a juvenile driving a VW Southbound on Hwy 110 south drove upon the scene and swerved around the first patrol car and swerved back into the lane striking the Goodpasture’s patrol car.
