Usher is calm under pressure or perhaps he was just fearing for his life and remained as quiet as possible for safety reasons. You can listen to the singer’s 911 call to the authorities on June 24, which he placed when a delusional female fan who claimed to be his wife was found wandering (aka trespassing) on his property in Georgia.

This was the second time that the woman breached security and found her way onto the property. She was previously removed by a member of the R&B star’s personal security detail the first time but didn’t get the message that she was not welcome. Clearly, she’s cray cray, especially since she called herself his wife.

Usher speaks in hushed tones throughout the call. He’s difficult to decipher, insisting that “I don’t know this woman… she rang my doorbell.” He also states, “She’s obviously a fan of some sort.”

You can hear Usher saying he has cameras on his property, as well.

According to TMZ, once the cops showed up, the woman, Darshelle Jones-Rakestraw, 26, claimed that she was married to Usher. Since Usher is single and not wed, the authorities moved quickly to arrest her.

Oh the perils of fame. We’re glad that the crooner is okay and that the cops responded in swift fashion. Trespassers, especially those that repeat offend, are not fun.

We can’t believe Usher’s actual ex-wife Tameka is using this incident as fodder for their bitter custody battle. Not cool.
