Volunteers will be converging on Woldert Park in Tyler on Saturday, October 6th for the annual Keep Tyler Beautiful Fall Trash Fest. If you would like to be a volunteer and help clean up one of Tyler's city parks, show up at the Glass Recreation Center on W. 32nd St. at 9a at the picnic area on the west side and get ready to roll up your sleeves for the big clean up.

T-shirts will be available for the first 80 volunteers that register under the big white registration tent and there will be free coffee to get you going too!

Keep Tyler Beautiful Chair Phyllis Carlyle says of the event, "[the] cleanup is a wonderful opportunity for sports teams, clubs, families, social groups, and individuals to get involved in their community while experiencing one of our city’s most beautiful parks.”

Clean up volunteers can win prizes while picking up trash because the oddest thing found will win a prize along with the person that collects the most trash.
