Wednesday saw the first hole in one during qualifying rounds at the 30th Anniversary of the UT Tyler Suddenlink Patriot Million Dollar Hole in One on campus at UT Tyler.

Just after 5 p.m., Ed Barret shot an ace to become an automatic qualifier, and hit in the Finals at Hollytree Country Club on Sunday. Shortly after Ed's shining moment, Russell "Rusty" Johnson got so close, at 4", that he became an Early Bird Qualifier.

Ladies who purchase shots are eligible to enter a drawing to win a LeVian Chocolatier Collection Necklace courtesy of Jim's Jewelers. The drawing will be held when qualifying concludes on Saturday May 14th.
