What A Blast!

Last night was a blast at Splash Kingdom Water Park in Canton with a few hundred Mix VIPs for the Mix VIP Appreciation Party!  The evening started off by cooling down just a bit (thanks to nearby showers), for a change it wasn't 103 but about 95 then the gates opened at 6:30p and off they were...to enjoy the wave pool, the lazy river, the Volcano and of course the slides and kiddie land!  See if you were caught by the Mix cameras last night after the jump!

I noticed a lot of families enjoying the castle kids area.  This area had a spray ground area and a giant mushroom looking thing that had water flowing over it and it had quite a few kids standing right under it cooling down while other little ones were going down the miniature slides for the first time and then running to do it again and again!

The newest attraction at Splash Kingdom Water Park is the Volcano!  This is a very quick slide that dumps you out into a small pool that seems to be 10 to 15 feet deep and it's like being dumped into a hot tub because the water was pretty warm - hence the name Volcano!

I didn't have a chance to check out the other 4 or 5 slides that was on hand because we were throwing out Mix t-shirts and having fun in the Lazy River.
