There will be plenty to do this Memorial Day weekend in the East Texas area. There will too many pool parties and BBQs to count. Why not do something a little bit different this Memorial Day? Try one of these Memorial Day events.

Want a little music?

You could head to Stanley's BBQ Friday for some great music, a full bar, and some of Texas' best BBQ. The Effinays, from Dallas, and Tyler's very own Stefan Cotter and the C-Otters will be playing starting at nine that evening. Check out their Facebook page for more info.

Also, the Coffin Shop in downtown Tyler will be having its last show until the Fall brings cooler weather. Blanket M, The Rest, and The Beer Munkees will start the show at 8 p.m. Check out the Coffin Shop Facebook for more.

Looking for a little bit more than just music?
