Thanksgiving is just a day away and I'm pretty sure you or someone in your family has the Thanksgiving meal planned out already and they will either be making the whole meal or have coordinated with family members so the perfect meal is in place, but what about the meat? What will be the main protein on the table this Thanksgiving?

For me, I grew up eating nothing but turkey on Thanksgiving. It was always paired with my grandmothers secretly guarded bread and cornbread dressing. It was secretly guarded because the recipe was never written down! Only she knew how to make it, thankfully though my mom was around to keep tabs and acquired the ingredients and know how on how to recreate it after her passing fifteen years ago. As the topic of Thanksgiving has come up around the office, I have noticed that others have enjoyed having ham on their Thanksgiving table. I usually think of ham appearing on more tables at Easter thank Thanksgiving. That brings me to my question!

I know it's different for each home, which ever one it is and whatever way it's prepared, oven baked, smoked or deep fried, just enjoy the time with your family and have a great time and get ready for the holidays, because they are here!
