If you enjoy Starbucks coffee like I do, and you live and work in Tyler, there is one location that seems to attract the most traffic, Paluxy and the Loop, and sometimes it takes forever just to get a cup of joe.

So, when is the worst time to drive through for coffee? Weekdays at 9 a.m.

I don't understand why. Maybe it's because most people arrive to work around 8 a.m., then dart out to make their calls and grab coffee on the way.

I have experienced this madness twice now, and then this morning I had sense enough to verify it with google. Yes, if you've never googled a restaurant or store to see how busy they are at various times - it's fascinating.

When is a great time to get through the drive-thru quickly? Before 6 a.m., around noon, and late at night.

If you think you're going to outsmart the lazy folks like me who do not want to get out of the car, and hustle over to the walk up location at Broadway and Rice Rd, think again.

They are also quite busy at 9 a.m.

Next time, before you dart out for a fast coffee run, check the google first.
