Late Show host David Letterman announced last night on his show that he would be retiring sometime in 2015 and then joked that he and Paul Schaffer could then go and get married! Late night television will not be the same without David Letterman. His famous Top 10 Lists, Stupid Human Tricks and Pet Tricks segments will come to an end along with all the other great funny stuff that he's become famous for.

After shocking the entertainment industry with this news yesterday, the big question is "Who should replace David Letterman on the Late Show?" This will be a big question that CBS execs will have to figure out in the coming months. The New York Post's Page Six has already come up with a list of candidates that could step in after Letterman leaves and that list includes Craig Ferguson, Jon Stewart, Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien, Jerry Seinfeld and more.
