Throughout the end of July, as your picking up some new jeans and boots from Cavender’s, you can purchase a paper torch for one dollar to help Special Olympics Texas. You can then personalize the torch with your name or someone you would like to honor.

Your one dollar will help provide quality sports competition and training for more the many children and adults with disabilities in the state.

“Cavender’s has been such a great partner of our athletes and organization and we are so grateful for their continued support,” said Miguel Quezada, Chief Development Officer for Special Olympics Texas.

The company has been a supporter of Special Olympics Texas since 2015. So far, you have raised about $35,000 from buying a torch at Cavender's.

Cavender’s has also been a huge sponsor of Special Olympics Texas Equestrian Competition, held annually at the Brazos County Expo Center in Bryan, for nearly 200 athletes every May.
