10 Most Important Possessions in Our Homes

There is no doubt in my mind that if there was a fire in my home the only thing I would be worried about would be getting my dog, Olive, to safety. I have several things in my home that I treasure that are extremely important to me. Don't we all have our list of things we could never forget if we had to run into our burning home?

A new survey asked folks to list out their prized possessions and I realize my list of must-haves from my house doesn't match up with average American. Could sentimental value be worth more than the actual financial value in America? This new survey says absolutely "yes". Family photos made the top of the list, but surprisingly several folks claim that they'd grab their T.V. or laptop. Umm, am I the only one that is upset that no one mentioned their family pets?
