Tomorrow evening, from 6:30 to 8, at Harvey Hall Convention Center in Tyler, Tyler Parks and Recreation will host a community design workshop for the proposed skate park that could be coming to Faulkner Park in Tyler.

Noble E. Young Skate Park was the first such park in Tyler but the skate park portion of the park is expected to be shut down.

Many of the local skating community have gotten behind having this type of park in the city.

Many skating events have been held at Noble E Young park in the past that has brought in skate boarders of all levels. If this new park is built, maybe these events can start again.

Plus, this would be a clean and safe place for your skate boarding kids to enjoy an afternoon with friends.

Show your support tomorrow night (December 6) and be at Harvey Hall in Tyler to be a part of this workshop.

If you need more information, call Tyler Parks and Recreation at 903-531-1370.
