Bobby Brown is currently in Los Angeles to be by the side of his emotionally-wrought daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, who has been hospitalized since the untimely death of her mother, Whitney Houston.

According to People, Brown arrived at LAX airport Sunday night (Feb. 12) at 9PM with a posse of handlers. “Bobby had a blank stare and looked exhausted,” noticed one onlooker. “His friends seemed concerned about him and they surrounded him as they walked through the airport.”

Understandably, Bobbi Kristina is “hysterical, exhausted and inconsolable” since the passing of her mother. In the past three days, she has been hospitalized twice due to consuming alcohol and sedatives. Her relatives are also concerned for Kristina’s well-being. They feel she may be suicidal and are thinking of enrolling her into rehab.

Brown issued a statement to Extra about his daughter’s health:

“Today my daughter did visit with doctors at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. She has been released and is presently with my family, including her siblings. Obviously the death of her mother is affecting her, however, we will get through this tragedy as a family. Again, I ask for privacy during this time.”

Meanwhile, TMZ is reporting that the coroner’s office has informed Houston’s family that Whitney died from a deadly concoction of prescription drugs, not drowning. However, medical examiners are still awaiting results of a toxicology report before making a final assessment.

The coroner reportedly released Whitney Houston’s body to the family and her mother, Cissy, is having her body flown to Atlanta as early as tomorrow.

There hasn’t been an official announcement on funeral services for the late pop icon, as of yet.
