Cheat Off These NFL Picks in the Week 1 Office Pool

The NFL season kicks off Thursday, and it's the perfect chance to show off your prognosticating skills. If you're not sure which teams to pick in the office pool, feel free to cheat off of these gems.

I grew up watching NFL games with my dad, and each week we competed against each other by picking the winners of each game.  Dad knew a lot more about football than I did, but picking my favorite mascots and uniform colors seemed to pay off at age 12, and I picked more correct games than he did most weeks.  It's funny, but the more I learned about football and slot receivers and nickel packages, the worse I did with the football picks!  Maybe it's all dumb luck.

This must be what happens.  Every week the projected winners just find interesting new ways to lose games, right?  Somebody muffs a punt or throws an interception in the 4th quarter and the wheels fall off and the team loses.  It's not our fault.  The picks would have been a hundred percent right if the players hadn't messed it all up.
