Hot bowls of chili will be served up later this month in Big Sandy, Texas and I want to make sure you know you’re invited to the party!

Bring your appetite, be ready to have some fun and maybe bring an extra few dollars as this will be a fundraiser for the Big Sandy Volunteer Fire Department.

Chili Cookoff Fundraiser Details

Volunteer firefighters are giving up their free time to make sure others in the community are safe. These are some real heroes in our backyard which is why I really want to show support for our friends at the volunteer fire department in Big Sandy.

They are hosting a Chili Cookoff Fundraiser taking place on Sunday, January 19th from Noon until 4:00 p.m. It’s only $5 for a bowl of chili but any other donation you want to make to the volunteer fire department would be graciously accepted.

And it’s more than just chili, as all of your favorite fixings will be available for you to enjoy. Plus, some delicious dessert options are available as well!

Invite Your Friends and Family to the Chili Cookoff

I think we can all agree that we need more authentic local events that bring people together. We spend plenty of time at home scrolling on our phones.

So, don’t miss out on this fun event with good people supporting a fantastic cause.

Where Will the Chili Fundraiser Take Place?

The chili cookout fundraiser will be at the Big Sandy Community Center located at 207 E Gilmer Street in Big Sandy, Texas 75755.
