Comedian Kevin Hart Donates $25,000 to Red Cross, Asks Beyonce and More to Participate

With the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey leaving catastrophic damage along the Texas Gulf Coast and surrounding cities, one comedian is leading the charge to lend support for those affected.

Kevin Hart took to his Instagram page to voice his concern about Hurricane Harvey, saying one of the worst natural disasters to hit the state is unbelievable.  He went on to say, "We all have participated in challenges - some meaningful some meaningless, but now he wants to start a real challenge."

Hart challenged his celebrity friends to follow his lead and donate $25,000 to the Red Cross for Hurricane Harvey Relief.  So far Kevin has challenged Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, our morning man Steve Harvey, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Jay Z and his wife/Houston native Beyonce, Justin Timberlake and Jerry Seindfield. Then he added, "when you donate, tag some of your other friends to donate as well."
