Deadly Drug Found in Texas According to the DEA

As if we don’t have enough to worry about already, the Drug Enforcement Agency, better known as the DEA, is saying there is a new drug on the streets in Texas. 

It was KXAN who brought the details about the DEA office in Houston trying to share the information about this new drug because it is deadly. 

New Pink Drug Popping Up in Texas 

The first thing that people are saying about this drug beyond it being deadly is in regard to its unusual pink color. The DEA has named this new drug “Pink Cocaine.” 

Pink Cocaine Not the Same Cocaine You’re Used to Hearing About 

Most of us have seen movies where people have used cocaine. Normally no one dies but this new Pink Cocaine can be deadly as it’s mixed with other drugs. According to the DEA it’s a mixture of several different substances and every batch is different.  

Pink Cocaine typically seems to be a mix of methamphetamine, ketamine, and fentanyl or something else. In Austin they are seeing a mix of cocaine, heroin, and MDMA. There have been two instances this year where pink cocaine was seized by law enforcement officers in Austin. 

The reason for the pink color is just to make it look like it’s a brand-new drug.

Pink Drug Popular with Younger Crowd 

This drug is found often in the club scene. But this younger crowd doesn’t realize that taking pink cocaine even once could be deadly.
