Sean “Diddy” Combs was the victim of a bizarre trespassing case when a man broke into the rapper’s Long Island mansion, ate his food, drank his liquor and tried on his clothes. And the guy says he’s been breaking into the place for more than a decade.

“I’ve actually been going to the house from time to time since 2001,” 30-year-old Quamine Taylor told The New York Post from jail after his arrest. “I stay there a lot, but Sean gets funny sometimes about me staying there.”

The Post reports that Taylor, who has a history of mental illness, took a train and then a taxi to Diddy’s East Hampton property, where he bypassed a security gate and found an unlocked basement door. He set off an alarm, but after police arrived, he was able to convince them that he was Diddy’s close friend.

Though Taylor is a Diddy fan, he says that wasn’t his motivation for visiting. “I really didn’t go to Diddy’s house because I’m a big fan of his. I just wanted to get out of the city for a while. I was actually hoping to stay like 15 to 17 days,” he said. Well, that’s a perfectly logical explanation!

Taylor helped himself to Diddy’s Ciroc stash and to food in the fridge. Diddy wasn’t home during the break-in, which began on March 31 and ended a day later when a housekeeper found him and notified police. After his arrest for trespassing and petit-larceny, Taylor sounded unimpressed with Diddy’s home. “I got a good night’s sleep, but it’s not anything too special,” Taylor said. “It’s just like a three bedroom.”
