I recently started seeing Dr. Matthew Grace at Broadway Dental in Tyler and was excited to learn that he's from East Texas, too. And, y'all know I'm chatty, so I asked him why he decided to return to his roots and run a small business here.

Dr. Grace attended Texas A&M University and UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry, completing rotations in San Antonio and Laredo. While he was finishing his education, he also participated in a foreign exchange program to Japan.

So, with an education based in Texas, he spent three years practicing in his hometown before accepting the opportunity as the general dentist at Broadway Dental. It's a family-owned practice, so he's committed to providing affordable care (no corporate middle men!) and being respectful of patients' time. He offers evening and weekend hours and strives to keep patient wait times below 10 minutes.

Since he graduated, he's served once a week at the Bethesda Health Clinic of Tyler and recently joined the faculty of Tyler Junior College School of Dental Hygiene.

Wow! How nice is it to find a professional here in Tyler that gets it?! I felt like I was talking to a friend the first time we met. He's one of us. I felt right at ease, had a great consultation and had a great cleaning. I couldn't be happier to find a hometown guy to take care of dental needs for years to come!

If you or a friend is looking for a dentist, head to Broadway Dental, 5621 South Broadway Ave. in Tyler. Call (903) 630-6313 to make an appointment today!
