Happy 100th Birthday, Granny

Friday I shared with you that my Granny reached her centennial mark! She is 100 years old! Yesterday, the family celebrated.

Family from all over the state of Texas, and some friends and family from out of state, journeyed to celebrate my Granny's achievement. The party was wonderful. Family members spent a great deal of time and effort organizing decorations, and booked a band to play.

The atmosphere was one of great celebration, and my granny seemed to really enjoy it! She had a huge cake on it, but no candles. Who wants to try and blow out 100 candles!?!

She danced and danced, and enjoyed visiting with friends and family in celebration of her special day. Oh and yes, part of her gift was snickers bars!
