Hey East Texas: It’s Time To ‘Sip & Shop’ On August 24!

According to the 'Sip & Shop' crew themselves, this tour coming up on August 24 is one their favorites and not to be missed! Also, I gotta say I can't think of anything more fun then taking a tour or our growing number of wineries in East Texas and popping in here and there to do a bit of shopping. It's extra fun if someone who knows the area well and plans the trip and takes my friends and I on a marvelous adventure. Well, that is what Sip & Shop Texas is all about. They do all kinds of excursions all throughout the year.

The one coming up on August 24 will leave from ETX Brewing Co straight up at noon. You and your buddy just hop on board the van and relax. The first stop is the Pelle Legna Vineyard & Winery which is just outside of Tyler where you'll enjoy tasting three wines and enjoy snacks.

Following after, you'll head to White Fox Vineyards in Murchison which is the home of a blueberry wine you don't wan't to miss. You'll enjoy three more tastings here in their lovely outside tasting area.

The next stop would be Deanna Carter proud. Green Goat Winery offers you three tastings including a strawberry wine in their lovely tasting room that opens up to the vineyard itself.

After that, you'll spend some time in downtown Ben Wheeler to adventure and shop at your own pace. If you've never been, you'll love it! Ben Wheeler as been voted "The Best Little Hidden Town in Texas."

Afterwards you'll be returned wined, dined, shopped, and happy in Tyler. The seats fill up fast so I'd connect today to make a reservation. Total trip? They say to allow between 5 and 6 hours round trip.
