In a world where bullying is such a big issue, it's a big sigh of relief when we see teens doing something to bring someone else up. Three teenage boys in Tennessee shocked everyone with their amazing gesture at their recent homecoming event.

Jesse Cooper, Drew Gibbs and Zeke Grissom were the official nominations for homecoming king at Unionville Community High School in Tennessee last Friday. But without anyone knowing, the three had already decided that whoever won would give the title to Scotty Maloney. Why would anyone give away the title of homecoming king?

Well, Scotty Maloney suffers from a neurological disorder called Williams Syndrome that inhibits learning and speech. So I guess he isn't your stereotypical 'homecoming king'. So when Jesse Cooper was announced the student voted homecoming king, the principal stopped and asked Scotty to come down. "I've been blessed with so many things. I just wanted Scotty to experience something great in his high school days" said Cooper.

The crowd hooted and hollered as Scotty made his way down. They stood and gave him a long standing ovation. People in the crows said his eyes got really big and he got really excited. They weren't quite sure if what was going on had registered to him or not, but he definitely knew something really good was happening. When standing before his classmates and students, Scotty and the three nominees all got emotional and shed a few tears. Happy tears that is.

When describing Scotty, Campbell said that he was definitely one of the most popular guys in the school. He is loved and friends with everyone he meets. He's described as a superstar. "To know him and meet him is to love him," he said.
