Houston Texans QB Matt Schaub Loses Part of Ear Lobe Sunday

Texans QB Matt Schaub was hit so hard Sunday it knocked his helmet off, and with that came part of his ear. Ouch! It turned out to be an illegal hit (darn Bronco!), and Schaub lost part of his ear lobe.

Schaub did return to the game, but that had to hurt putting the helmet back on. The good news if you're a Texans fan, they beat the Broncos 31-25 and Schaub threw for 4 touchdowns.

I always noticed that my grandpa's earlobes got longer with age, so perhaps there's hope that Matt's lobe will grow back.
