One of the most intriguing projects in Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of MadnessNot because director Scott Derrickson promises it will be the first horror film in the MCU — although that does sound good too — but because it will officially introduce the multiverse to the MCU after years of teasing. But wait, doesn’t that contradict with what Mysterio said in Spider-Man: Far From Home?

The video above by ScreenCrush’s Ryan Arey explains it all. It looks at the MCU from the beginning through Avengers: Endgame to show how the multiverse concept has been hidden in Marvel movies for years — including the original Doctor Strange and the first Ant-Man. (Yes, folks. The Quantum Realm is part of the multiverse.)
