Icona Pop is truly cornering the market on infectiously catchy electro-pop songs, and their new single 'Girlfriend' proves that once again. Following up their huge hit 'I Love It' featuring Charli XCX, the Swedish duo, has tapped the genius of Tupac for the chorus of their song.

They sing, "All I need in this life of sin is me and my girlfriend / Down to ride till the happy end, is me and my girlfriend." If this sounds familiar to any younger pop music fans, that's because Jay-Z and Beyonce also re-imagined the legendary rapper's lyrics for their '03 Bonnie & Clyde' track. Though, in Icona Pop's case they are paying homage to something every girl needs -- her BFFs. Just like 'I Love It,' the ladies newest track just screams 'Singalong with me!'

If you're like us, you're absolutely yearning to hear a full-length album from these amazingly talented ladies and we should be hearing one soon! Aino Jawo confirmed on the Billboard Music Awards red carpet that their debut LP should be out, "before the end of the summer." Okay, ladies, the countdown begins now! So get to work!
