OK, let me stop for a moment and think about some of my favorite things. Hmm, art...wine...food...maybe a watercolor class? Yeah, that sounds about perfect.

Well, if any of these items are on your list, you'll be happy to know the seventh annual 'KilGogh Arts Festival' is this Friday and Saturday, with the 'KilGogh Exclusive Preview' kicking it all off tomorrow night at 7 p.m. in Kilgore. They say this one will be the biggest one yet..."Gogh Big or Go Home" is this year's motto. Love it. ;)

Also referred to as the 'KilGogh Art & Wine Exhibition,'

Friday's festivities are from 7 to 10 p.m. in the Texan Theater and Old Post Office in historic downtown Kilgore. Enjoy an evening of food provided by the Kilgore College of Culinary Arts, wine tastings from wineries around East Texas, entertainment, and of course...art. Ticket price? A quite reasonable $25.

And, if you find that you've fallen in love with a few art pieces and can't decide which one to take home, no worries. Come back on Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., during which time the art exhibition will be open and free for the public.

One particular aspect I'm also interested in are the Saturday workshops scheduled in the Old Post Office that are appropriate for participants of any level. The first one is a DIY Spring Decor workshop at 10:30 a.m. At 11:45 a.m., there will be a watercolor painting class. Learn more about the workshops here.

Van Gogh would be so proud.
