Ouch!

East Texas native and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will be sidelined for 3-5 weeks after suffering a dislocated kneecap during their win against the Denver Broncos Thursday night.

Bleacher Report, Mahomes called a quarterback sneak during the second quarter and after the play, he went down clutching his knee in obvious pain.

After a couple of minutes in the X-Ray room they ruled him out for the remainder of the game and Friday morning NFL Networks Ian Rapoport confirmed Mahomes suffered a dislocated kneecap after an MRI.

The good news is Mahomes is predicted to come back either in week 11 or after the Chiefs bye in week 13.

Knee injuries are no fun as I once suffered a torn ACL and MCL years ago playing softball so to offer any kind of support, Patrick take your time and come back when you feel comfortable.

Nevertheless, I do wish you a speedy recovery and hope to see you on the field again soon.
