Peter Facinelli Fun Facts

"Coop" is coming to East Texas!  Coop is Dr. Fitch Cooper from Showtime's Nurse Jackie and it's the same person as another doctor, Dr. Carlisle Cullen from the Twilight Saga series and those characters are played by Peter Facinelli.  During his career, Peter has had quite a few small television roles along with movie roles too.

He has appeared in shows like Fox's Fastlane, NBC's Law & Order, Six Feet Under, Damages and most recently Nurse Jackie on Showtime.  His movie credits include 1998's Can't Hardly Wait, Supernova in 2000, The Scorpion King in 2002 with Dwayne Johnson, Finding Amanda with Brittany Snow in 2008 and of course all of the Twilight Saga movies.

Peter Facinelli is our special celebrity guest at Women's Night Out this year and I thought I'd look up some interesting facts about him, because you can find out just about anything about anyone online these days!  Here are a few of my findings:

* Married Jennie Garth in 2001 and they have 3 kids
* Has a mini pig as a pet along with a couple of dogs
* Old cars are among his interests and owns a 1962 Thunderbird convertible
* Is a coach for his daughters' baseball and soccer teams
* Is handy when it comes to carpentry - he likes to build things for the kids
* His favorite actor is Paul Newman
* Didn't really get into acting until he was in college studying at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts
