Razzie Nominations Are Out

The Razzies are typically handed out the Saturday evening before the Academy Awards, but this year the Golden Raspberry Awards will be handed out April 1st, April Fool's Day.  The nominations for the 32nd annual Razzies are out and Adam Sandler has racked up a record setting 11 nominations this year.

The Razzie Awards "honor" the worst in films over the past year and with Adam Sandler receiving 11 nod this year, he surpasses Eddie Murphy's record 5 nominations back in 2007 for his movie Norbit!  Adam received the majority of his nominations from his movie Jack and Jill.

Jack and Jill will be battling it out with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1 in the category of worst movie of 2011 along with Bucky Larson: Born To Be A Star, New Year's Eve and Transformers: Dark Of The Moon.

In the category of Worst Actor, Russell Brand received a nomination along with Nicolas Cage, Taylor Loutner, Adam Sandler and Nick Swardson.

Sarah Palin received a nomination in the category of worst actress for playing herself in Sarah Palin: The Undefeated along with Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristen Stweart and a couple of guys too - Adam Sandler (as Jill) and Martin Lawrence (as Momma from Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son).
