Well, he didn't say "no" to the idea when asked about it during an interview with Yahoo! Movies on April 13.

Promoting his new film The Lost City of Zbased on a true Amazon jungle adventure story and co-starring Charlie Hunnam—former Twilight star Robert Pattinson considered whether he would ever reprise his role as Edward Cullen.

"I mean, I’m always kind of curious," the actor revealed when asked his thoughts on a Twilight franchise reboot opportunity. "I always like the idea of subverting people’s expectations. So there could be some radical way of doing it, which could be quite fun. It’s always difficult when there’s no source material. But, yeah, I’m always curious."

Since Twilight's heyday, RPatz has held a wide range of non-vampire roles, from playing an unbalanced millionaire in Cosmopolis to a youth facing mental challenges in The Rover's post-apocalyptic world. It would be both delightful and strange to see Pattinson once again take up the sparkly Cullen mantle.

Even so, it seems like the experimental actor takes a light attitude about the good ol' days, laughing when he asked the interviewer, "So I’ll get my own spin-off?"
