This weekend will be chilly and East Texas will receive two to six inches of rain. Because of the weather, some weekend Christmas parades have been rescheduled or cancelled.
Winter isn't expected to arrive until a few more weeks, but thanks to the nationwide record setting cold front that moved through East Texas last Thursday night, many local Christmas parades have been rescheduled because of the extreme cold weather that moved into East Texas.
Finally cooler temperatures have arrived in East Texas making it feel more like fall and the holidays, we just hope they stick around for a while. Those temps arrived just in time for the lighting of the City of Tyler's Christmas tree tomorrow night.
