Round three of the high school football playoffs happened last weekend and quite a few East Texas teams survived and are moving one step closer to playing in Cowboys Stadium in Arlington for the state titles. Currently East Texas has 12 teams still in the playoffs.

The road to the championship games continue for several East Texas high school football teams. On that road are John Tyler, Chapel Hill and Tatum and they'll be playing again Friday night. Brook Hill claimed their title this past weekend against Austin Regents for the first time in 3 years.
