Season 8 winner Kris Allen had a homecoming. The Arkansas native performed his new single ‘The Vision of Love’ from the forthcoming ‘Thank You Camellia’ on the live elimination episode of ‘American Idol‘ tonight (April 19). No, it wasn’t a cover of Mariah Carey‘s debut single, either!
‘American Idol‘ has played host to some of today’s biggest pop artists, and this week is no different. The show will add more star power to their list of Season 11 performers when LMFAO and Kris Allen take the stage.
Tuesday is New Music Tuesday and the day for the release of the new American Idol compilation album, American Idol: 10th Anniversary – The Hits Volume 1. It features the biggest songs by some of the shows most famous alumni, including Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone,” Adam Lambert’s “Whataya Want From Me,” Daughtry’s “Home” and much more after the jump.
It's a compilation cd that is marking American Idol's 10th season on Fox. It'll be in stores on March 15th but you can pre-order it on the American Idol site now. The disc will feature the biggest hits from all 9 winners along with some others that have been just as successful.
