Anglers from East Texas and beyond will soon be converging upon Lake Palestine to compete for cash and prizes totaling more than $70,000!

A really cool event is coming back to Lake Palestine for its second year. It’s called an “Adaptive Aquafest” and it gives children and adults with disabilities the chance to experience water skiing. If you are not the parent of, or personally know anyone with a disability, then you may have never thought about the fact that they can’t experience water sports like the rest of us.
