While the candidates are on the road pitching themselves to get our vote on Tuesday, November 6th, a lot of Americans are headed to the costume store to buy their Halloween costumes. Now, if masks sales are any indication on who will win the election in a week and a half, there is definitely a clear winner already.
The first debate of the 2012 presidential election campaign between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney got started a little after 9 p.m. ET from the University of Denver’s Magness Arena. Jim Lehrer, host of ‘Newshour’ on PBS, moderated the event, which covered domestic policy.
Tonight will be the first of the series of presidential debates. Tuning in to these can give the citizens of the US a better understanding of what each candidate plans to do for the country. It may sound boring, but it is important for all of us.
