Army Angel Tree! It's right there between Chick-Fil-A and JC Penney and seeing it reminded me that Christmas will be here before you know it.
All of that spare change tossed into the famous Red Kettles at storefronts, will add up to hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Salvation Army's charity work in Tyler.
The Salvation Army Red Kettle Bell ringers have been ringing the bells outside of retail locations during the holiday season every year since the first bells rang out in San Francisco in 1881. It takes quite a few volunteers to ring those bells to help bring in monetary donations to support the Salvation Army each year.
