Seth Rogen Has His Eye on ‘Sausage Party 2’, More R-Rated Animated Movies
With Sausage Party setting an August box office record this past weekend, that sound you hear is doors across Hollywood opening for R-rated animated movies. This is probably an overdue development. Movies from studios like Pixar and Studio Ghibli have long been praised by people of all ages for the maturity of their themes; it was only a matter of time until someone with a proven track record and a bit of vision  —  a filthy, filthy vision  —  pushed animated movies right off into the deep end.

More Comedies Should Be As Progressive About Feminism and Gay Relationships As ‘Neighbors 2′
Despite how much of a refreshing surprise the first ‘Neighbors’ was, I’ll admit I wasn’t particularly looking forward to the sequel, which looked dispensable and derivative. The poster and trailer for ‘Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising’ made it clear that Nick Stoller’s sequel to the 2014 Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne comedy was simply replicating the original premise and gender-swapping it to raise the stakes. It seemed like the expected set-up for a movie to stereotype and villainize young women, ridicule and dumb them down for laughs, and subject them to dick jokes. But it turns out ‘Neighbors 2' is a more pleasant surprise than the first movie. Not only is it one of the best and funniest comedy sequels, but the most feminist, self-aware and gay-inclusive mainstream comedy of the year, if not ever.

Now Rogen has decided if he’s going to be at SXSW anyway, he might as well bring one of his upcoming films with him. The actor-director will premiere a “work in progress” print of his first animated film, Sausage Party, with a cast that includes Kristen Wiig, Jonah Hill, Paul Rudd and more.

Netflix Will Stream ‘The Interview’ Starting on Saturday
If you haven’t watched Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s ‘The Interview’ yet, either because you’re too cheap to spend $6 to rent it online, or you were worried North Korean hackers would catch you buying it and share your private emails slagging your boss with the world (I’m sorry Mike! When I called you “a giant goober,” I meant that in an affectionate way, like Goobers candy! Which everyone loves!) you are in luck. As part of their quarterly letter to shareholders, Netflix announced that they will “exclusively” offer the comedy to its U.S. and Canadian customers starting this Saturday, January 24. Sorry Netflix Netherlands! You’re out of luck for now.

If actor and Alzheimer's crusader Seth Rogen were filling out an imaginary application that asked questions about his music fandom, we can safely say he would not be checking off "Belieber" on any portion of said application. The actor spoke out (again!) about Justin Bieber, calling him obnoxious, among other choice adjectives.

When Seth Rogen took the podium at the Independent Spirit Awards last weekend, everyone was expecting him to use Hollywood’s most irreverent awards ceremony as a forum for teeing off on some of the entertainment industry’s best and brightest. Well, he did just that, taking aim at a long list of celebrities that included Brett Ratner, Mel Gibson, and everyone’s favorite Twitter celebrity, Chris Bro
