I am still a huge fan of music from the 90's. That time period also produced a ton of one hit wonders. A lot of those one hit wonders I continued to follow outside of their radio hit. Here are some of those single hits that turned me on to the band.

Earlier in the week I wrote about Soul Asylum heading back in the studio to begin working on a new album since 2006.  The band is working on it in New Orleans and Minneapolis.  I've chosen Runaway Train from Soul Asylum as the Mix 93-1 Retro Video of the Day.  Enjoy it after the jump!

"The Silver Lining", was the last album released by Soul Asylum and that was back in 2006.  Soul Asylum is planning a coming back with a new album that lead singer Dave Pirner and the rest of the reincarnated Soul Asylum have been working on.  They've been in studios in Minneapolis and New Orleans working on the new project.
