In some places in Texas, the maximum speed limit is 85 mph, which means that some jackass is probably doing 95 in the fast lane. As for me, I drive like a little old lady and do the ACTUAL speed limit. It's not because I'm all that old or because I'm scared of driving next to big rigs. It's because I hate getting speeding tickets.
This is catching on everywhere, and we think we'll be seeing more of it in 2019. Fake police officers like "Constable Scarecrow," that are cardboard cutouts made to look like real officers with radar guns. Will it work in East Texas?
No matter where you live in the state of Texas, it seems as if just about every single town in our great state has a speed trap! There is a website that has compiled a list of speed traps in Texas and they're not just in the major metropolitan areas, but our smallest of small towns too!
I don't know what it is, but here lately it seem like I've been exposed to a lot of PSA (public service announcements) concerning speed and now seat belts.
Every time we get behind the wheel of a vehicle, there is danger. That danger can come from ourselves and definitely come from others and most of the time it is something that we have control over.
