You can't question whether Texas A&M fans know how to have fun -- even when it comes before a program-defining win over the University of Oklahoma in the Cotton Bowl at Cowboys Stadium.

When the Westboro Baptist Church announced their intention to target the funeral of Texas A&M alum Lt. Col. Roy Tisdale, his fellow Aggies didn’t take it sitting down. In fact, with a little help of Facebook, more than 500 students at Texas A&M showed up at the burial in College Park, Texas.

Texas A&M University system will be housing three national bio-defense centers that will make vaccines and develop ways to help the U.S with the threat of  bio-terrorism.

After weeks of rumors, Texas A&M is set to leave the Big 12 and to join the SEC, the league said on Sunday. The move will go into effect next July. “We are excited to begin competition in the nation’s premier athletic conference,” Texas A&M President R. Bowen Loftin said in a statement.
