It hasn't even completed its opening weekend, and producers are already looking forward to a 'World War Z 2,' thanks to a hefty box office take of $66 million -- and Brad Pitt, of course.
Zombies may be really hot right now, but there's one thing that is (and probably always will be) a bigger deal: Pixar. Brad Pitt's 'World War Z' performed quite well in its opening weekend, but even the biggest zombie movie of all time couldn't keep pace with 'Monsters University.'
The title is 'World War Z,' but I can think up two other letters: "O" and "K."
'World War Z' is okay because it zips along with the fury of a computer-generated cascade of fast zombies. 'World War Z' is okay because Brad Pitt is a great leading man, even if his character has no depth. 'World War Z' is okay because there is always a fatalistic draw to see our social order tumble
Two more films setting out to become summer blockbusters hit theaters this weekend, the first a sequel to a beloved animated tale and the other a zombie thriller adapted from a beloved novel.
If you needed an adrenaline boost this morning, then you'll want to check out these new clips from Marc Forster's 'World War Z,' featuring brutal zombie chaos and creepy, rainswept suspense.
