Ms. Bates Of Kilgore ISD Is The Mix 93-1 Teacher Of The Week

Mix 93-1 and Cooperative Teachers Credit Union are proud to honor and recognize outstanding East Texas teachers for the amazing job they are doing in the classroom when it comes to educating the students of East Texas.

This week's Mix 93-1 Teacher Of The Week is:

Ms. Bates - Kilgore High School

Ms. Bates is a journalism and graphic design teacher at Kilgore High School in Kilgore. Ms. Bates was nominated by a former student of her students who had this to say about her:

Ms. Bates is a very passionate teacher. While in her journalism class she taught us everything there is to know about journalism and gave us tips for the real world. She also taught us how to be great photographers and designers when it comes to print layout and photography layout. I really enjoyed working on the school newspaper and yearbook with her. "
